Electrical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team, including electricians and instrumentation technicians.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of the plant's electrical distribution systems, including power supply, cabling, earthing, and protection systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults, lead troubleshooting efforts, and coordinate timely repairs to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of electrical installations and equipment to identify risks and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Maintain accurate electrical maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment history logs.
- Monitor and manage electrical spare parts inventory; coordinate with the Maintenance & Material Manager on procurement requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, PPE standards, and plant safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, incident investigations, and HSE training sessions.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of electrical team members.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on electrical equipment performance, maintenance activities, and downtime incidents for management review.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, providing technical direction and hands-on support as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in mining, coal processing, or heavy industrial plant operations is strongly preferred.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
