GENERAL HR STAFF

SECTION A – GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Position Title: General HR Staff
  • Department: Administration – Human Resources Department
  • Work Location: Company Office, Km 10, Bachiang, Champasak, Laos

Basic Benefits:

  • Salary: USD 460 – 600/month
  • Social insurance, meal allowance, holiday bonus
  • Accommodation provided (staff housing area)

SECTION B – JOB PURPOSE

Assist the Department Manager in carrying out tasks related to human resource management, employee engagement activities, rewards & recognition programs, training, staff development, payroll, and employee benefits in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

SECTION C – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Human Resource Management

  • Search for and recruit employees for various departments and production units within the company system.
  • Monitor, implement, and manage personnel records and staff transfer procedures between departments and production units.
  • Maintain and update employee records for all workforce groups within the company system.
  • Handle and monitor work permit procedures for foreign employees working in Laos.
  • Prepare periodic HR reports, including headcount reports, recruitment status, employee resignation status, and workforce transfers between departments and production units.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to annual leave, sick leave, and other employee leave matters.

2. Training & Human Resource Development

  • Develop training and staff development plans for the company.
  • Organize internal training classes and employee development programs.

3. Payroll & Compensation

  • Participate in developing, reviewing, and reporting on labor cost norms and workforce budget utilization applied to the company's agricultural and industrial production activities.
  • Prepare payroll approval plans and organize periodic salary payments for all workforce groups within the company system.
  • Directly calculate and/or review payroll records, bonuses, allowances, subsidies, and other employee benefits (if any).
  • Consolidate and prepare payroll reports, including but not limited to salary fund utilization reports, payroll distribution reports, and other payroll-related reports as requested by department management and/or company management.
  • Receive payroll funds, supervise, and organize periodic salary payment programs in accordance with company regulations.
  • Monitor and prepare salary increment documentation for employees.
  • Prepare employee payment lists and handle salary-related payment procedures.

4. Employee Benefits & Social Insurance Administration

  • Prepare documentation for employee benefits related to sickness, maternity leave, rehabilitation leave, occupational accidents, and occupational diseases for employees throughout the company.
  • Handle procedures for opening and closing social insurance books/cards, applying for health insurance cards, reissuing cards, and updating employee information on health insurance cards.
  • Process social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance payments to the relevant authorities.
  • Handle employee welfare and benefits in accordance with regulations and policies.

5. Translation & Interpretation

  • Provide Lao–Vietnamese translation and interpretation support for the entire company system.

SECTION D – JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Education & Experience

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma or above.

2. Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in Vietnamese and Lao languages (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, carefulness, honesty, and ability to work under pressure.

3. Other Requirements

  • Nationality: Lao
  • Good health condition suitable for the job requirements.
